Thanx for visiting!
This is the read me file for Logo Screens.
If you do not have a program to use logo screens, this is the best
way (I think) to manually change them in your computer.

*******if you prefer a program (which is easier), and want to grab
a FREE one, try WeiSite! She offers a free program as well
as some original logo screens! :) Her URL is:

********
Go to "Start"
Go to "Programs"
Go to and open "Windows Explorer"
scroll down to the "Windows" folder
open the Windows folder
*Now, I suggest you make a folder to put your old Logo Screens that
you are currently using. To do that
Go to "File"
Go to "new"
over to "folder" and click
The new folder will appear in the right window. The text will be
highlighted for you to type in a new name (ie-old logos).
Scroll through the right window (contents of the "Windows" folder) and
find these 2 files:2 logos.sys, logow.sys. Then "drag" them by
holding the left mouse button down while the cursor is on the file. Let
go of them over the new folder (old logos) when it is highlighted and
they will drop into the new folder. Once both logo files are in the old
folder, then you can "drag" the 2 new ones into the "Windows" folder.

Then you need to replace the logo.sys file. It is located directly under C:\
So, double click on the C:\ in the left side window and on the right
side window, scroll to find the logo.sys. You'll also need to make a folder to
keep the old logo.sys in (as you did above). The drag the logo.sys into
the C:\.

Then close up the Windows Explorer window. That should do it :)

When you are finished with these logos, you can repeat this by making
another folder to keep these in (if you'd like to keep them). If you
want to replace them with the old ones, just open the old logos folder
and put them in the "Windows" folder. Just remember, it will only keep
1 set of logos in the windows folder at a time, since they have to have
the same name to work.

Happy Holidays! *<:^)
